Making Memories with Mom

Many countries will be celebrating Mother’s Day this Sunday and it is always a wonderful opportunity to remember how important it is to take the time to make precise family memories that last a lifetime.

I am very fortunate that my mother has been able to join me on several river cruises and I know first-hand how important it is to plan these special family trips in advance, particularly if you need to accommodate different mobility and activity levels. We are welcoming so many multigenerational families on our ships and it’s such a pleasure for our teams onboard to ensure that everyone gets to enjoy their cruise their way whether that means relaxing with a good book and a glass of wine on the sundeck or taking an active hiking or biking tour. There is truly something for everyone.

Travel has always been such an important part of my life and some of my fondest childhood and adult memories involve travels with my mother and with my daughter. I thought I would share a fun recap of my early days that the team put together to surprise me when I was honored to receive travel industry recognition with a Diamond Award from ASTA Southern California.

Much love to my Mother and all the Mothers on this special Sunday.
