Linda and Mike McWilliams are the owners and proprietors of San Pasqual Winery located in La Mesa, California, with tasting rooms in La Mesa and San Diego’s famed Seaport Village.
Their venture into the wine industry began in 2009 by purchasing the San Pasqual Winery - San Diego’s first urban winery. Linda went back to school and earned her Certificate in Winemaking from UC Davis, becoming our fulltime winemaker. San Pasqual wines are hand-crafted in small lots using grapes sourced from local vineyards and renowned viticulture regions throughout California. We currently produce about 2500 cases a year sold exclusively in their two tasting rooms and through the “Friends of San Pasqual” wine club.
Their San Pasqual wine list includes a robust selection of traditional grape varietals that are consistent award winners in local, state, and international competitions, including our San Diego Riesling; awarded gold and double gold medals from the San Francisco Chronicle. Our 20 different varietals include Chardonnay, Rose, Malbec, Temperanillo, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Barbera and multiple sparkling and special fruit wines.
